it was all just a nightmare?

i dont know where else to put this because i dont want to trigger anyone, i just need help to explain this.

last night i had an utterly terrifying dream. i was being raped and assaulted. it seemed so real and it hurt a lot. im a virgin and so i have no idea what i would’ve expected for sex. when i woke up this morning my body hurt like it had actually happened. and i have bruises on my body from where the man in the dream was gripping me really tightly and yet they are there when i woke up even though it happened in a dream?? i dont really know what to make of any of it ...
