Vitamin D supplement?

Hi mommas,
Sooo I haven’t been giving my baby any vitamin D supplements and I just found out now that it’s recommended ): anyone not giving their breastfed babies vitamin D supplements??

I don’t use it. I forget. His doctor said it’s fine as long as he’s getting out of the house

We use Carlson’s Baby Super Daily Vitamin D3 drops. My SIL is a doctor and recommended them.

Nah, I don't. Its sunny where I live and we go outside everyday. I think we're fine.

Neither my midwife or pediatrician mentioned this to me,  but a friend who is an oncologist told me her nutritionist said she takes vitamin D supplements herself since her baby is EBF. That was the first I've heard of it, so plan to talk to my pcp and start them soon.

I dont always but i take a lot of D, like 6000-10,000 per day, which is enough to get it into your milk.  I do drops a few days a week.

1 drop everyday...sometimes in her bottle with probiotics and sometimes on her soother.
