Which is better and why?

I'm planning on getting a halo bassinet then converting over. We don't have a ton of space, we're putting all of baby's stuff in our room. Either way I feel like they'd both take up the same amount of space. I like the pack n play because we can take it traveling. I like the crib because it converts into toddler bed, though we could always get one later down the road. They're both around $150

I’d personally skip the halo and do the pack and play and then the convertible crib. Pack and plays have a bassinet option, for those first few months and then transition to the lower level when they outgrow the bassinet level. Once they’re ready to move out of your room move to a crib that can eventually become a toddler bed. You’ll still use the pack and play when you travel, visit family or friends for the day for naps, and as a play pen when you need to grab a shower or make dinner.

Skip the halo. We bought it and a pack n play. Baby hates the halo and sleeps perfect in pack n play

My daughter didn’t/wouldn’t sleep in her crib until 14.5 months old and is now 18 months old.. she would scream and no matter how long I waited she’d not give in at all! She now has her crib pushed up to my bed without the front part on and she is sleeping great on her mattress so we are hoping to get in toddler bed mode officially soon!

I have a mini-crib on our registry... it is usable for 18 months and converts. We don’t have a lot of space right now either, and I’ve heard good things about them... 
we also have a pack n play on our registry too.

My daughter loves her Halo. However, the legs are super wide, so it takes up quite a bit of space. It’s very heavy and not portable at all. Ha. Also, she is starting to outgrow it. She is 3 months and is getting too long. She wakes up in weird positions. I will include a photo. I have loved the Halo, just wish it lasted longer for the price. 
Additionally, we have a Pack n Play and a crib. She will transition to her Pack n Play soon and then her crib when she moves to her room.

I bought my convertible crib new...and my playpen on fb market (fully inspected before buying)and washed afterwards...but i enjoy his own bed at home..with thinking of futur cost so he has his todler bed already with it...but playpen was great when he outgrew the bassinet but still did night feeds...and also..when going over to peoples or events at peoples house or travel in general

I have a halo, we went halo, pack and play, toddler bed. I’m sooo glad we did because our toddler is two and in her toddler bed and we don’t need to buy a bassinet, pack n play or crib

Skip the halo bassinet and get the pack-n-play and crib. The Halo bassinet can only be used until they start showing signs of rolling over which can be as early as 8 weeks. Pack-n-plays and cribs can be used until baby is 35” tall.
