3.5 months pp & I still feel huge

I’m really bummed out because I thought I’d be back to my pre pregnancy size by now. Is that unrealistic though? I’m about 3.5 months postpartum. I was 127 starting out and gained about 40 lbs. but my stomach is still huge and I just feel like the fat won’t go away! Also I’m careful to not strain my abs because I had Diastasis recti, but I’m about 90% sure I’m all healed up because I just have a 1 finger gap now. So that being said I do steer clear from doing any sit-ups and crunches. I just still look a couple months pregnant and I’m just so tired of it!! Can anyone else relate? Or does anyone have any suggestions on how to burn belly fat quick that is also DR safe?
