Well, my due date was July 2nd and all along we had planned on inducing at 39 weeks...which would put us at June 25th. All along baby girl was measuring large, and at towards the end we decided that instead of trying to give birth to a possible 10 pound baby we would elect to have a c-section. Everything was set for the morning of June 25th (Tuesday) and we were so excited!

We had a stressful Saturday and sure enough, Sunday morning I find myself in labor! Looked like this princess wasn’t waiting for Tuesday after all!

Got to the hospital and checked in at triage at 10:00, and the pain was very manageable at that point. They checked me and I was at a 6 already! And boy did Things progress FAST! Before I knew it my contractions were one on top of the next with little to no break in between! The doctor on call agreed to let us continue with a c-section and went to get the team ready!

At 12:03 pm on Sunday June 23rd our little princess joined our family 💕
