Umbrella stroller for 15 week old?

Question

Do you guys think it's ok to use an umbrella stroller like this for my 15 week old son? I live in NYC and getting around has been difficult because most subway stations don't have elevators and buses are tight so I can't bring our normal stroller on either.  I wear him a lot but we're planning trips to the zoo,  museums, etc. with friends so my son and I would both get uncomfortable using the baby carrier for that long of a time period. He has good head control so I was thinking of an umbrella stroller so i could fold it up on the bus.  What do you think?

Most of these aren’t recommended until a certain weight and/or if they can hold their heads up on their own.  We’ve been researching as well and our little one isn’t ready yet.

I dont think so.  My baby is 16 weeks and while i think she is pretty strong, she could not do one of these for sure.  I bought one of these for my son when he was about one because i was traveling a ton and thought it would be easier for airports.  I hated it, in over 4 yrs i have used it maybe 2-3 times.  Now it is a toy for him.  You cant out anything in it (think phone, coffee, snacks, bags....) and it is really low, i am 5’2 and it felt like a weird height.  It also is terrible on any surface except super smooth floor.  I ended up buying a lightweight, one hand collapse graco stroller that i LOVE so much more and bring everywhere.

Fellow NYC family. 
We got this one for a plane trip and it is a little heavier and more pricey....
BUT it folds up, has a shoulder strap, comes with a travel bag, reclines pretty far back and has a 5 point harness and bin on the bottom for diaper bag, or stuff. 
We got it at 7/8weeks and he was a little young for it but with an after market infant insert and keeping an eye on him I was comfortable using it then for short periods of time. Now that he’s got great head control I don’t worry about him in it at all. We use it for travel and around nyc. We use our bigger stroller for longer walks and non subway outings.

Hey, I just got the 3D mini by summer and we love it. Reason we got is because we feel that our travel system is too bulky. It reclines and light weight and can fit easily in the car or carry it in the go. Plus side it’s on sale at target. We started to use it last week. It’s the smaller version to the bigger one
