What are your thoughts about birth control? ( would you use it even if you were not trying to conceive or would you use other forms of protection?)

If you don’t like it, don’t use it. I love it. It makes my periods bearable so that I can go to work without being in pain, having a migraine, or being an absolute zombie. And most importantly, it prevents me from getting pregnant. I’m newly 24 with a full time job and a 1 bedroom apartment. I could not handle having a baby right now. So, it’s not whether it’s “good” or “bad”, it’s use it if you want, don’t if you don’t.

It took a few different brands of bc pills to find a good fit for my body but once I did it was wonderful. Predictable, easy cycles and never had a pregnancy scare.

I got on it my last year in high school for acne. It was a requirement of being on accutane. I stayed on it for almost 10 years no issues. It works if taken properly. I had no issues conceiving soon after getting off the bc either. So if its something you need, get it.

I'm in between I definitely think it's good because if not we would have 10 times more children coming into this world unplanned then we already do however I do feel that some birth controls are not good for females.. I had the shop forever and I've been off of it for two years and I've yet to have another pregnancy.. with that being said I also tried the NuvaRing and it definitely made me regular for the first time in my entire life... I'm not on birth control right now but if I was trying to prevent a pregnancy I would much rather do birth control than a condom

Birth control didn't help my pms or cramps. Sure it helped to prevent pregnancy but it still didn't give me enough benefits to stay on it. I've been off it about a year now and I'm finally feeling like my body is back to normal

It’s bad for me personally, I’ve never had a good experience with hormonal birth control. But it’s very good for others.

I wouldn't use hormonal birth control unless it was to regulate an imbalance.
