Today, according to my app, I am 5 weeks and 3 days. I received my first ever BFP on Friday of last week. My husband and I had been TTC for one full year. This was our moment we had been waiting for. We shared and cried tears of joy with our friends and family over the course of the last week.

This morning at 5am I woke to significant discomfort (cramping). My body has been waking me up like clockwork at this time to go to the bathroom, but this time felt different. I’m bleeding. I passed multiple small blood clots. I’m panicking and my heart sinks. What do I do??

I called my doctors office the moment they opened. They brought me in for blood work and hopefully will have HCG levels by the end of the day. I’m praying this is normal and easily explained by something else. I’m so scared 😭
