Baby smiling?

My daughter never lets me put her down when I’m alone with her, she barely ever smiles at me. But when her dad gets home she is ALLLL smiles, my MIL always rubs it in everyone’s face that whenever she asks my daughter for a smile, my daughter smiles.... I’m like ugh shutup. Yes I’m jealous but    s h u t u p  😑
anyone else feel like their babies love everyone else more?!!

I think If you’re with your baby 24/7 they love to see a different face! Especially a familiar one!

Both my boys are Daddy's boys. After checking on his baby brother, the first thing I get from my (nearly) 4 year old is "Where's Daddy?". On the way to and from nursery, I get questioned on where Daddy is, and when he'll come home, and why can't he do the nursery run. Quite often I get "I lost my Daddy" (no, he's just at work 🤦‍♀️). If he's not asking for Daddy, he's asking for Grandad, or a close family friend. I'm way down on the list 😂
As for our 3 month old, the moment Daddy comes home it's all smiles. If we've had a particularly rough day, he will settle as soon as he's in his Dad's arms. He will actively look round the room to find his Dad and his brother. If they walk past him, he will follow them with his eyes.
I'm just the poor sap that cooks and cleans 🙄 😂

I swear she likes her daddy more even though he’s not around much when she’s up. He’s been finishing up his fire school so he comes home for maybe an hour if we’re lucky and isn’t home until after 10pm. Saturday’s the last class and I keep joking we can finally be a family 😂
She also always smiles at my grandfathers wife 🤮
