If you had to be induced, did you end up having to have a c-section?

I am getting induced and my cousin got induced last year, ended up having to have a c-section because the baby wasn’t coming and nothing was working, same with another girl i know.

I was told i had to be induced because my daughter was weighing around 10 pounds. And if i kept her in longer she would be 11 at birth. She came out 6 pounds 7oz. I was not a happy mom. She could of stayed in there as long as she wanted. She was my best pregnancy.

Had literally everything else done to get him out, but no c section! And it was close too, his heart rate was dropping while I pushed. Worked out in the end, healthy and no c section

I got induced due to reduced movements and I didnt need a csection.

I was induced, ended up with emergency c section only because my sons head was stuck.... other than that it would have been fine as I got to 10cms

I was induced and didn't end up with a c section but I also didn't have an epidural either which can increase the risk of needing a c section when you've been induced i was told.

I have 4 kids, all attempted inductions (medically necessary for baby to come out), it was successful twice and failed twice (2 c sections). The more progress you have going in, the less likelihood of a c section
