Kinda feels like it’s just me

Anyone else not in any rush to have their baby?

I feel like I see a lot of posts from people wishing their baby would hurry up already. And I totally get it! I don’t mean to be putting anyone down. I just don’t feel like that myself but don’t see anyone else really talking about it. I could totally go to 40+ weeks and still not feel anxious to have this baby. And yes, he was planned and is wanted and I do feel excited to have him, just not in any kind of rush. I felt the same way with my first and actually did go over with him. And I was totally fine with that. Everyone else seemed more ready for me to have my baby than I did, haha.

I found out at my appointment earlier this week that I’m measuring ahead. I’ve got a growth ultrasound scheduled, but I know that this could possibly mean that I’m having this baby early. And while I have everything ready for him, I guess mentally I was planning on more time. I just don’t feel any rush to have him early and would honestly rather have him show up on his due date or even later.

Anyone else feel like I do? Or is it really just me? 😅
