WHEN DO YOU DELETE THE PHOTOS

My ex’s and I of three years broke up about two weeks ago. He hasn’t reached out at all and has blocked my number. I don’t want to delete all of our pictures 😞 Is this normal? When’s the right time to do it

Whenever you feel ready. I personally would delete them so you don’t have to be reminded of them as much, but it’s up to you

Why do u have to delete them at all? That was 3 years of ur life. Maybe just move them to different folder and don’t look at them if it’s hard for u to move on. But in 20 years are u going miss having those memories. Just because u break up doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Deleting everything isn’t going to erase everything. 3 years is a long time and to me it would mean more to me even after a break up I couldn’t just throw away everything. I’m not saying keep a shrine or anything but I don’t know.

Honestly it took me years to delete mine, not because i still had feelings but because theyre still good memories and i like yo hang onto memories tightly. If they upset you though then its best to get rid of them.

I deleted them a few weeks later... about 5 or 6 I think. Sometimes it’s hard, but it helped with my mental state in the long run
