Sex while pregnant with twins?

I am 24 1/2 weeks pregnant with twins. The pregnancy is going fine. No problems at all. My perinatal doctor has 0 concerns. Cervix looks good etc. 
My OBGYN said he recommends not having sex until 30-32 weeks. 
Has anyone else’s doctor recommended this???

I am pregnant with twins and had preterm with my previous singletons.  None of the doctors (MFM or OB) have said no sex.  I have been seeing MFM every week since I was about 17 weeks.
