Morning ladies it’ going be 31 degrees today in London my daughter 8 weeks is a sleeveless vest and shorts ok with hat to protect her from sun ??? Is that ok first time mum here no clue 🥰☺️☺️

Careful with suncream as technically not recommended until 6 months. But a balance of risks if you're going to be in thr Sun. Do a patch test. And always wash off after use x.
Your clothes suggestions sound great, maybe don't even need the shorts xx

Aww 🥰 my baby last year was born in the heatwave, it’s so hard to keep the warm but keep them cool,, I never swaddled her at all,, just a vest a little socks to keep her feet warm 😆 in the day , no sun cream tho, it can block their pours in their skin , if you can stay out the sun , x

I would personally say just a nappy and a sleeveless vest. Keep your baby out of the direct sunlight. I wouldn't use suncream as your baby is too young. I also wouldn't cool your baby down with water/spray bottle/flannel as that can make it worse. Adjust your babies body temperature by increasing or decreasing layers of clothing. That should be fine but also keep her in a cool place - preferably inside with a fan so she does not overheat. Sometimes water mist spray can help keep them cool

Yep just a vest or down to nappy with muslin. Plenty suncream and out of direct sunshine. Try not to go out at hottest times of the day or seek out aircon places to linger 😂
