Back / hip pain
Okay, my back has been an achy S.O.B. Since.... sometime around the start of the 2nd trimester/late 1st trimester, but yesterday, last night, and today it has seriously been the worst it’s been yet!
Literally, last night, I rolled out of bed for a midnight bathroom “run”, and it hurt so bad I didn’t know if I was going to be able to make it the (at most) 15 feet to the bathroom! I was seriously contemplating dragging myself along the floor, and my hip felt like it was literally about to give out.
Adult diapers are sounding great right about now 🤣
And at times I can be walking just fine then suddenly it feels like a “pop” of shooting pain is shoved into my hip/lower back. When that happens, if I don’t sit down immediately, I’m afraid my hip will give out because it goes back to that “I’m contemplating dragging myself along the floor” feeling.
I keel over in pain, and not to toot my own horn, I have a HIGH pain tolerance. I mean... I’ve been stabbed in the leg with a spear that chipped the bone, got some stitches, and went back to track practice the next day.
Is this normal? Should I consult my doctor? Any known ways to help? No, I’m not laying on my back or sitting in a reclined position throughout the day (though, I have been spending a lot of time on my feet).
