Too early for second pregnancy?

My babygirl is now 7,5 months old. She is born with a emergency C-section. Is it too early for a second baby? My hubby is 45 and he doesn’t want to wait too long for a second baby.

You have to be a minimum of 18mo between deliveries for a VBAC. have them check your scar if you’re concerned. They will do a physical and an ultrasound to check healing.

I got pregnant when my daughter was 6/7 months. But I had an uncomplicated vaginal birth and my midwives gave me the go ahead. I would say that bc you had a cesarean or would be best to wait at least a year to fully heal. Definitely talk with your dr though.

It is recommended you wait at least a year in between pregnancies. You increase the risk of miscarriage, problems in the pregnancy, problems with your body, etc if you get pregnant before your body has fully healed from the previous pregnancy. My mom has permanent hip problems from having two of my brothers a year apart (so she got pregnant like right after having my first brother).

I decided to wait until there were at least 18 months between kids. That is what my OB recommended.

I commented a few minutes ago. But I forgot to put me and my sister are 13 months apart both delivered via csection.  So I mean it can be safe but idk what damage it would do to your body...

That’s a talk you should have with your doctor, considering you had a c section I would definitely talk to them seeing your body had major surgery and a pregnancy soon after could be a difficult one. It’s advised to wait at least 18 months between babies to give your body time to heal.
