Enough milk? 4 weeks pp.

Question

So, I’m 4 weeks pp and every time I pump I just get 1.50 oz. How can I get more milk supply? And how do I know that my baby is getting enough milk? He just eats during 5-10 min every 2-3h. I try to breastfeed all I can but sometimes I have to use formula because I think he doesn’t get full.

Babies get more milk from you than what you can pump

What makes you think he’s not full the amount your pumping or is he fussy and restless? If your feeding and pumping you won’t get that much at first. Use a Hakka on your other side while you nurse to collect milk the would normal leak out. Massaging you breasts as you pump will encourage more let down. It takes time to establish supply don’t stress yourself out about it. As long as baby is fed and content just enjoy him.
