9 days postpartum and cry every day, sometimes multiple times a day. Normal or not?

I cried every day for about two weeks, almost every time i fed my son. My husband would always find me crying in the nursery lol but I told him it was happy cries bc our baby was so cute 😂 but def check with your dr if you think it’s more!!

The first two weeks I cried seriously every single day multiple times a day. For all the reasons. I’m 16 days PP right now and feeling so much better and not so emotional.  Baby blues are real. If it goes past 2 weeks I’d say talk to your doctor about PPD

For the first two weeks this can be normal if it continues beyond 2 weeks definitely talk to your doctor. I’m not a highly emotional person and I cried almost everyday and often multiple times a day for nearly the 2 week period. I’m 4 wks PP are crying far less now and feel more like my normal self emotionally.

i cried everyday & felt super sad & didnt wannabe around my son until he was about 2 weeks old. now i feel so much happier & don’t cry & wanna be around him  all the time.   i think it’s normal to feel sad for the first few weeks, but if you are concerned talk to your doctor:) hope you feel better mama! 💙

Normal but depends on what you’re crying about. I usually get super emotional when I see my baby and I would consider them tears of happiness.
PPD is a real thing and if you find yourself feeling sad or depressed please talk to your OB about it.

I’m 8 days pp and cry once a day. It’s just this overwhelming feeling of tears and once it passes I feel much better. But definitely looking forward to this going away

I'm 2 weeks postpartum and I'm easily sadden our hormones are still trying to level out but if you need someone to discuss whats making you sad make sure you reach out don't cry alone. You definitely aren't alone ❤

I am almost a month postpartum and still cry very easily lol. It is a lot and overwhelming too, that paired with the hormones make it a very emotional time. I’ve had anxiety and depression in the past so I know when I’ve hit that point which this isn’t that for me. If you feel like it is more I’d talk to someone though ❤️

I recommend talking to your OB. It can be normal baby blues, but if you’re feeling it’s more severe than that I’d reach out. Won’t hurt for the OB to tell you it’s normal or give you a timeline of when to reach out again.
