Any PA’s on here? I have a few questions
I’m in the navy as a Hospital Corpsman. I absolutely love working in health care and originally was going to go for nursing school after I get my associates only because I never believed I could make it through med school. Turns out I doubt myself a lot and I’m actually pretty smart and very driven. I started to consider being an MD or PA and after some research PA is what I’m more leaning to. I will be using my tuition assistance while in the navy to get my bachelors in science and then my GI bill for PA school. This is my back up plan if my package to go through PA school while in the military and come back as an officer is denied.
Anyway, I’d love to hear more about what it’s like to be a PA. How involved are they in assisting in surgeries? I want to work either in trauma or with kids. Anything is helpful!
