First time pregnancy/heightened smell??

I was doing my makeup and for some reason I was smelling every type of chemical and before I was never able to. Last night when I was in the shower, I smelled hard liquor and it made me feel so nauseous, and now I smell bug killing chemicals. Is this normal? (There are no chemicals near me to make me smell all these things) I’m 5 weeks.

Yes that is normal for your sense of smell to be extra sensitive.

Oh good times, I remember when I was first pregnant.. I walked outside at 6 weeks along and I called my mom and legit asked “is it normal to smell the entire earth?” It’s normal, get used to it. Good luck mama ❤️
