In need of some help... maybe?

I’ve grown a cyst, or maybe even some boil near my “lady part”, and it hurts. This isn’t the first time this happened, but thank goodness this one isn’t that bad as I expected. I usually get these boils before my period, which I’m already used to, because it runs in my family. Anyways, to at least bring the vaginal boil down, I know that you put some pressure, with a warm, damp rag or so, and I was wondering if I can use a heating pad on the boil? I usually use the heating pad during my period for cramps, but every time I use the rag solution for boils, the rag gets cold fast... unless I sit in the bathroom for a while. Please don’t judge... 2 other people judged me about another topic. :/
