Do we need a condom?

I lost my virginity last night. We are 18 and high school grads and yesterday was our 14 month anniversary so before anyone asks, yes I was ready and had sex ed.

I have the Nexplanon birth control implant in my arm and we used a condom and he pulled out. The condom was really annoying though and I was just wondering what you guys think is okay? Do we need a condom since I’m on birth control and he pulls out?

Btw we both DO NOT have STIs.
