Hey July mommas

Hey ladies! Originally we were due June 30th! We were set to be induced on July 1 at 7:15 PM but Riley decided she was ready on her own. Contractions started at 5:00 AM. I went to get checked at 12:00 PM & were told to come back as scheduled. I was in preterm labor & 1 cm dilated. I then came back & was 2 cm dilated at 3 by 10 & they told me I didn't need any of the pitocin or the balloon because we were progressing fine. I took the epidural in order to try to rest & dilate. My water broke 10 minutes later. Then the epidural somehow fell out an hour later.. but we didn't know this so I felt from 3-6 cm. It was the worst pain I have ever felt in my life.. She was sunny side up. The anesthesiologist came back & tried giving me more meds. I gave it an hour & then told him it didn't work. I almost passed out because I was so dizzy. He then replaced the epidural at 3 AM. It was amazing! But the entire time I was laboring my girls heart rate would drop a bit. We got it up everytime but at 4:15 AM we decided it was time to have an emergency csection. She was born at 4:54 AM, 7 lbs, 20.1 inches. She is my angel.
