HPV and abnormal pap

So my Pap smear came back abnormal- high grade squamous lesions. It also came back positive for HPV. I understand that 4 out of 5 sexually active people will have HPV at some point in their lives but I’ve been with my husband for 12 years so I don’t understand how my Pap smear results are abnormal when I had one a year ago and it was fine. I mean I guess I probably had HPV for over 10 years then? I don’t know bc I just turned 30 this year and that’s when they start testing for the virus. Has anyone had these results?
