Oatmeal raisin cookies...thought?

My husband was at work today and someone made cookies in packs of 2. As we are watching our weights he had one and gave the other to a co-worker. Who automatically was like nope not for me then passed it to another co-worker who took a bite and said gross.

Raisins in general are just bad. I love oatmeal cookies. But raisins ruin everything.

I fucking LOVE oatmeal raisin cookies. Imo it's the best raw cookie dough, better than chocolate chip. Dont get at me its not a debate 😀

I like to call them disappointment cookies because it looks like oatmeal chocolate chip (which I love) but then it isn’t 😂 I don’t like raisins at all though. If I liked raisins I would be fine with them. I do like them made with dried cranberries.

I can enjoy them now, as an adult. But a part of me is still angry about the many times I got fooled in my childhood thinking I was biting a chocolate chip cookie 😂 When I was young they were nothing other than blasphemy disguised as chocolate and I hated them just for that lmao.

Did your husband enjoy it? Maybe the measurement were off. I love oatmeal cookie mostly without raisin. I still love raidin but with other recipe
