Double pram worth it?

By the time my newborn is here my son will be 2, do you think it will be worth it to get a double pram or just stick to my old pram and make him walk? I’m just a bit worried he won’t be able to walk for such a distance if we head out

My eldest was 26 months when her baby sister arrived, I bought a double buggy, and only the youngest used it. A few months later I ditched the buggy, bought a buggy board for long distances or hills and it was so much better

My daughter hated riding in hers by about 2.5 years. Maybe look into a sit and stand option.

I think it depends how much you use it/ how much walking you do. My daughter will be 3 when my second is born and we drive almost everywhere so I’ve decided to skip the double stroller and get a wagon instead because that would do fine if we took a day trip somewhere where we’d need to do a lot of walking and give my oldest somewhere to take a break. However if I used walking and a stroller as my main form of transportation or if I was the type of person to take walks everyday I’d definitely get one as even 2 and 3 year olds get easily worn out while walking and it’d be more convenient to have a stroller for both kids at that point.

My sons will be 18 months apart and we’re not changing our pram. By the time our second is here, our eldest should be comfortably walking for short distances. Planning on getting a second seat attachment for long periods of time that we’ll be out but I don’t think it’ll get used much as we don’t use the pram much when we’re out anyway 😊
