Am I being unreasonable?

Question

My husband would like to take myself and my two children up to New York City for a night to see frozen on Broadway. We have a six month old and I am nursing her and he wants me to leave her at home with my mom or a babysitter. Am I am being unreasonable when saying no because she’s nursing and she still gets up two times a night and I feel that it would be unfair to my mother or a babysitter.

If your mom is fine with waking up or a babysitter is fine then I dont see an issue...
Is it maybe you arnt ready to leave baby yet? That's okay too mama.

I’d say that’s kinda unreasonable but to each their own he’s doing something cool for your kids and family one night is not a big deal especially at 6 months your baby will be fine just leave some pumped for her to eat if needed or formula not gonna hurt anything

I don’t know where you’re from or if this trip would be a drive or a flight. If it’s a day trip though why not bring your baby and your mother along with you? Get a hotel for your mom to watch your LO in while the rest of you go see the show.

Honestly, I would go for it. I wish I had someone who would take her for more than 20 minutes at a time or had a husband who organizes stuff like that for me. 
I work full time and the second I get home I get the baby while I have to do the household... 
I would probably hesitate at first too and go through 2 million scenarios in my head. But seriously, go! Your baby isn’t so little and fragile anymore. And it’s just a Night.
The earlier you start stuff like this the easier it will be for both of you later down the road.

I would be ok leaving for 3 or 4 hours but i won't leave my baby over night. Not until she is much older, like 18 months maybe. So no i don't think thats unreasonable. Someone not used to a baby may not hear her. Or they think crying it out is best, i don't. My lo only wakes up when she is hungry.

I did 1 overnight away from baby. My mother in law watched him. I checked the baby monitor/camera constantly, and texted her every few hours. Everything went fine, but I don't see myself doing that again any time soon. I wasn't ready

I'm breast feeding but my husband and I spent 3 nights in Vegas for our anniversary. Our sweet little girl stayed with Grandma who gave her my frozen milk, I pumped and dumped. It was hard but it was good. It's best for my daughter is my husband and I have a strong relationship

My mom knows everything about my baby so I'd do it cuz i trust her but that's just me
