23 month old anti nap?!?

My daughter has been down to one afternoon 2 hour nap for about a year now. 
However the past week when we put her down for her nap she never falls asleep!!! She just rolls around and talks and sings the entire time. 
Do we keep putting her down for “quiet time”? 
Don’t they need that nap until they’re like 3?!

Yeah I heard that people who think their 3-4 year olds don’t need naps are probably wrong, so I think she probably still should be napping. I’d keep doing quiet time if she allows it, if nothing else it might help her recharge a bit, especially if she’s in a dark room. Mine had a few weeks of really terrible naps and then went back to napping normally, and if we had just assumed she didn’t need naps anymore we’d never have known that she’d go back to napping. So I’d keep trying.

My daughter hasn't been taking naps for over a month now. I don't force it because it makes her easy to get to bed at 7:30 every night 🤷

My daughter occasionally will go a day without a nap and will be very fussy come bedtime. But it’s just how it goes. It usually only happens once or twice a week, but we offer her a nap every day.

My little guy has been refusing and or waking up after only one hour and it’s making me so upset! I know he’s tired because I jam pack our mornings! He stays in there the full two hours, if he doesn’t fall asleep until the end, I make sure to wake him by 4 so he burns enough energy to go to bed before 8!
