What does it feel like when your water breaks?

I’m 31 weeks pregnant and I was resting outside when I felt wet. I thought maybe I just peed myself but when I stood up it leaked on the floor and trickled out. I’ve waited about an hour and doesn’t look like anything else is out. Should I be concerned? This is my first pregnancy so I’m not super sure! Thank you

Go get checked out. If your water did break or you are leaking fluid it could lead to infection.

Maybe just pee?? My water only broke with my first and it was a constant thing. I had to have towels in the car for the hospital ride and It was still going in the hospital

It was like I was peeing myself but couldn’t stop it. It was a constant flow for a bit and than would continue to come out when I pushed or laughed/sneezed or coughed.

If your bladder wasn't full, I'd get checked. I had a leak and it just felt like I peed a tiny bit. If it's enough to soil your pants, not just kind of damp undies, it's worth getting checked especially since you're early. Typically it's a gush when it's a full break, but a leak can feel like you've peed a little, and can lead to stillbirth if not treated.

I was induced and when they broke my water it felt like i just peed myself

With my first it was gush after gush after gush (and I would get cleaned up and new huge pad in just in time to get soaked again🤦🏼‍♀️). With my second, it was broken to speed labor along and it felt like a trickle. If you’re not sure, you can always call.

My water broke spontaneously with both pregnancies. It felt like a water balloon popping inside of me. It trickled to the floor and I was noticeably wet. Definitely go get checked!! Good luck! ❤️

I would get checked. When mine broke it was a big gush and then it stopped because my daughter dropped and plugged the hole. The first nurse that checked me didn't believe me that it broke, but they called in a nurse with bigger hands and she was able to shift my baby's head and detect the amniotic fluid.
