Go back to school? (Read)

Question

I dropped out of college (I don't have a single year done). I'm 21 and work at a grocery store only earning $9.25.
I have a 2 year old and a 10 month old. I was thinking of going back to school to teach early childhood education and hopefully eventually getting a degree in education. 
Is it to late to go to school? Would it be too hard with kids? I want to be a teacher, I'm just afraid it's too late for me.

For everyone. Who voted too late is not right. She’s young and has 2 kids and supporting her two kids making that much money an hour won’t help her... it’s going to be a struggle to go to a school but it’s not too late

GO BACK TO SCHOOL. Your in a dream position, the state will give you money to help you take classes. Plus your children are still young enough that they will not notice the struggle or the hectic lifestyle. Also, by the time you are finishing up they will just be old enough to go to school. I think you should do it while they are still young.

Accidentally hit too late. I have multiple degrees and have gone to school with people right out of high school up to people in their 50s and 60s. It's never too late to improve your place in the world for you and your children. I just graduated with my masters in elementary education at 37. Being in the classroom brings me so much joy. Do it!

You do what’s best for you!! I say do it!! In the long scheme of things college is just a small segment of your life and your possible career!! It might be hard and seem long but so worth it in the end if that’s what you want to do!

Sorry voted wrong.  It’s not to let. Hell im 34 in college. Have been for 8 years.  Before I whole had time for a few classes now I have a son and my husband works 7 days a week so I try to be home.

I'll he graduating with my bachelor's on my 29th birthday. I go to school with mostly older, adult women and some are even in their 60's. It's never too late to go back to school! Just make sure if you take this leap (which I hope you do!) That you follow it through. Its going to be hard and you may even feel like quitting a hundred times, but it'll be worth it. Don't give up on your dreams. Do this for you and your babies! Even if not now, someday. It is most definitely not too late!!

There is a program that gives you less tuition being a single mom and also there are aids if you need it but even better is night school or online classes you can take so you can take care of your kiddos and get that degree
