How’s the trust in a LDR?!?

I’m new to LDR,1st week without my so.And I got myself thinking:And if...?I really do love and trust my so ,but now’s that he’s far away...my mind’s wondering...How do you personally handle this ?Kinda need a little help on this.

Trust is super important. Saying good morning and good night by text is a good idea, just as sending some pictures of your daily life to one another. This helps u understand each others life.
For us, it works to not do fights over text, but always (video) call. So fights dont take forever to be solved. 
We video call about twice a week, and try not to text whole day to give each other enough time and space for our lives. 
Make plans for when u see each other and talk about closing the gap.
