Would you do long road trip with 7/8-week old?

Second poll of the day...husband’s family has a week planned on a lake. Will be about a 10-hour drive with stops included. Will be my husband, me, 2.5 yr old and 7 week old in car. We plan to do it straight through in one day. 
I am having doubts/stressing about the little one, both in the car but also at the lake house. He is currently attached to me 24/7, not sleeping great (wants to be held), fussy in evenings and he is breastfed. I told my husband months ago that it would be a game time decision but I know he will be disappointed if we don’t go but I am really having doubts. Should i just be brave and go? I feel like there’s no great answer here....

We did a 7/8 hr drive with my 8 week old. He’s chill but gets upset with very wet diapers. Just plan to stop every 3 hrs for their comfort. Lets the big kid stretch and isn’t horrible. 
It’s just rough in the summer months when you kind of have to stay inside the car to nurse baby bc it’s too hot outside so you literally sit in that car the entire trip. 
Honestly it sucked, but it’s easier when they’re smaller. We’re at 11w now and he’s starting to not like the car.

I just did a trip from Seattle Washington to Colorado with a 4 week old and two large dogs, did it in one straight shot with just a ton of stops and that ended up being 25 hours in a car. I had no choice because we had to move but my son did amazing! I would say you should do it if you want to it might be fun but I know you could probably have a relaxing time staying home too either situation your baby will do okay (:

I just came back from a trip to Colorado, and I live in Las Vegas so it’s about an 11 hour car ride. My LO (she’s 5 weeks old) did wonderfully. We stopped every 3 hours to change and feed her and she slept pretty the whole time between each stop.

My husband wanted us to go to Arizona once babys is 3 Months. He's 11 Weeks Atm... That's An 8 Hour Drive. I'm EBF, i said no way. 🤷🏻‍♀️ My baby gets fussy just driving around for 2 Hours , let alone 8. i Told him to go by himself or take his cousin w him, but i'm not going. & I'm bot gonna until he's atleast 7-8 Months.

Drive at night time. It’ll help keep the baby’s sleep/wake cycle from getting messed up.

Maybe you should just let your husband and your other baby go, my baby gets fussy also just driving around here in the city doing errands and by what you said it might be too stressful for you guys.
