HELP!! Best Infant Car Seat?

Question

First time mom here and I am completely overwhelmed with all the infant car seat options! 
I am looking for one that could be installed without a base (European Belt Path) in the rare occasion my husband has to pick baby up in his company pickup, and the higher the weight and height limits the better. Cost is not an issue. 
So far I have narrowed it down to a few, but I am totally open to suggestions! 
Britax Endeavors (has anti rebound bar) and Britax B Safe Ultra (no anti rebound bar). I’ve read that Britax tends to be more narrow. 
Chicco Fit2 - biggest height and weight limits (35lbs and 35”) 
Nuna Pipa (no anti rebound bar) 
I drive a Ford Explorer, so I’m not entirely sure how any of these would fit in the second row.

I too was overwhelmed with car seats/travel systems. At Buy Buy Baby we had a “specialist” who compared & did demonstrations for us for about 30mins on car seats/travel systems. We told her what we wanted & were looking for. If you’re still unsure, I recommend visiting them for your feature comparison demo. 
Ultimately, we went with Britax...I really liked the red buttons that tell you where to press to release/open/fold. The safety bar was awesome, and it was lightweight (I’m only 5’2”...didn’t want anything bulky & hard to lift)

We have a Britax endeavors infant seat and we love it. I haven't had to install it without the base as I bought a second base for my car but I like having the option just in case. The only downside is it's heavy but it seems sturdy and I've heard good things about the brand prior to buying the travel system. The stroller is a great too

If it’s a newer Ford Explorer, you probably want someone with a smaller front-to/back footprint as the middle row doesn’t have a ton of legroom (which means not a whole lot of space for rearfacing car seats). 
Anything with an anti-rebound bar mist likely needs more space, but check the measurements to be certain. 
I’ve been very happy with our Britax B-Safe. It is narrower than some other seats, but my boys both seem comfortable even when it looked a bit cozy as they got bigger.

Britax are basically bomb proof, so definitely a great choice!
The pipa is super nice and really light if you get the lightweight version, it's a little more expensive, but babies weigh a lot when you carry them like that, so every bit makes a difference!

Can the pipa be used without a base? I thought they said on their website their bucket seat requires the base at all times.
I could be wrong!
You might want to check out the Clek Liing as well. I’m not sure if that can be used without the base, but I love that seat 😍

I have a graco infant carrier, and when I got my britax toddler car seat.. I immediately regretted my graco choice. I would recommend a britax. They are so much sturdier.
