Can you ovulate with lingering HCG in your system from MC?

I had a MC 8 weeks ago and no period yet. We only had unprotected sex once and that was yesterday. I felt like I was ovulating the last couple days but not sure if you can even ovulate when you still have lingering HCG? I got blood work done today but don’t have the results yet. I think my levels are less than 50 based off my last one but is it even possible to O right now? Anyone been in a similar situation? Really hoping to get pregnant again soon and this waiting game sucks! 😩
