First Time Moms - Was your labor sudden or spread out?

Question

Meaning did your labor come on suddenly with no warnings or signs that it was going to happen that day or even soon? Were you feeling absolutely fine besides pregnant as hell and thinking this baby isnt coming for awhile still, maybe even after DD or were you constantly having BH/contractions for days, feeling weird/nauseous/ feeling as if labor could be near? Wondering as a FTM from other first baby perspectives... I’m 38 weeks. 12 days left until due date. No signs of labor and not dilated either!! :(

This is my 3rd. But with my first 2 I had no symptoms or signs of labor until labor actually hit. Lol. No braxton hicks at all or false labor or mucus plug/bloody show during the entire pregnancy. Contractions/spontaneous labor just hit one night and the following morning was in active labor and 4 cm dilated. Hope this helps! 🤗

Came on suddenly but was very slow to progress in intensity. I labored for 77hrs.

My 1st... suddenly at 41 weeks 1 day .... 2 days before that I was 0 dilated and 0 effaced....
2nd.... suddenly at 39weeks 5 days I was feeling wonderful, walked a 5k and the next day she was here 
3rd.... long and stretched out over a period of a week... prodormal labor would come nightly and on the last night I was over it and went for a walk at 6am all my contractions stopped then my water broke right there and things progressed pretty quickly
This baby I've been cramping since yesterday but different then I've ever cramped, more like if I had a tummy bug, so idk

I had no signs other than being dilated to 3cm. No cramping or pooping lol ect..I just started having irregular contractions one night and the next day she was born super healthy at 7lb4oz 38+4 weeks

2nd baby due 27th. My first I thought my waters were leaking when I woke up around 7am on the Friday morning went to the hospital to be checked and they couldn't find any evidence although midwife thought maybe a small leak. Advised to wear pad all day and come back in the evening, which I did and was sent home around 2am. Still not enough evidence. No contractions/pain/pressure ect. Woke up 930/10am Saturday morning sat talking to my husband in bed and I heard a pop and it was a couple of seconds before I felt the gush. By 11am I was in hospital having contractions so strong I couldn't move and my baby was born at 5.14pm 
Other than being convinced my waters were leaking I had no symptoms I wasnt tired or anything I felt calm and normal
