I agree with Natalie. Could be figure of speech. My man and I have said stuff like this before jokingly. I mean maybe if this guy had tools set up for this and described or wrote down details of what hed do then it would be a problem but can you blame a man if your watching a movie and some psycho hurts a mans wife/kids and your husband says "if someone ever took and hurt you I'd kill them". Would you really be threatened/scared hes a killer psycho? Lol no. If your really that worried why dont you say something to him

My husband says it in a joking way and I don't think it's attractive, it's more comical because he's a funny guy lol, but I know he would do anything to protect me and I love that about him.

My husband doesnt say this except when he gets news stories about someone raping and or murdering a young woman or child. He said last night that if he ever caught anyone trying to rape/molest or abduct our daughter he would beat the shit out of them. He then said he was worried about his reaction and whether or not he'd be able to stop hitting them before it resulted in murdering them for it. He said the idea of anyone hurting either of his daughters (ages 17 and 1) or even his boys (15, 10 and in the womb) makes him so angry he could probably easily fly out of control depending on what was done. I honestly dont blame him. I mean the idea of your children being harmed or put at risk can make anyone react it's about self control after a moment.

I don’t think it’s attractive. It’s just something he’d do. I also highly doubt he’d kill them unless they killed us. He’d just protect us.

If a threatening hand is laid on me, I do like the knowledge that I will be defended. In a way, it also gets me to better stand up for myself when I’m alone (should something ever happen).
