Diva cup

I recently bought the Diva cup model 1 and I figured I would take it out of the box to get familiar with it.

It just feels weird is the silicone supposed to feel that thick and me being me decided to try inserting and it hurt to insert it than a regular tampon.

It also felt like it was going to get stuck up there. I know funny but I have always used pads or tampons, and I thought I would give this a try because the reviews about it were very good.

Did anyone else have this problem the first time or is it just the brand I'm using??
