Baby wearing in the airport?

Has anyone flown with their little yet? We are flying next week and in order to have both hands free for luggage and my other kiddo, I was thinking about baby wearing. But I'm not sure how that will work while going thru security.  Anyone have any insight?

We did baby wearing in the airport.  They let us walk through security with it on, I heard that sometimes they make you take baby out to walk through.  Saw a lot of other people baby wearing as well. Nbd

My experience has been taking baby out to go throw security. Btw, you and baby go through metal detector and not the body scanner (or at least that has been my experience every time I fly with my kids).

Yes, we just got back yesterday from vacation and baby wearing will make it so much easier! We made the mistake of not doing that on our way to our destination and the airport was a bit of a disaster and super stressful! Baby wearing makes it a ton better! They took our diaper bag to the side and tested our bottles and formula as well. I wore him all around the airport until we boarded just to keep him calm and happy. I’ve flown in A LOT of airports. Baby wearing is the way to go. 
Some security make you remove the child to go through, some don’t. A couple times my babe was sleeping so I refused to take her out/off and they just had to pat me down and swab her and my hands. NBD, saved me a unrested baby.

I don’t have experience with baby wearing in an airport, but maybe you can just take baby out when your going through security and then put them back in once your through. Just a thought🤔
