Depends on the "not going anywhere" bit. If I was committed to someone and wanted to get married and have kids but that wasn't happening then heck yeah I'd leave them! If it was blocking an opportunity to better myself and help others (work in the health care sector) then I'd choose that over a dead relationship.

I was actually in that position few days ago but hey, we are now engaged and planned to be married in July 2020, sometimes, things just really dont happened in our way but in God’s perfect time.
