Nanny

I work full time and my 2 kids are in daycare...soon to be 3. I love our daycare and all our teachers but 3 kids in daycare for a year is $36,000! My 2nd is always sick and getting kicked out of daycare for fevers and such. I'm thinking it may be time to move to a nanny. Have any of you done the transition from daycare to nanny? How did it go? I'm so nervous bc the kids love their friends and I don't want to change things on them but i can't keep taking off from work bc he gets a fever and $36000 is a lot!
