Scared of ocean advice

We’re going to Hawaii with my in laws around when baby will be 6 months old. Lately I’ve been feeling terrified. I don’t want him going far into the ocean in case a current picks up or an animal comes up to whoever is holding him. It honestly scares me out of my mind. The thought of losing him is something I couldn’t handle. But we’re going to the beach everyday most of the day and they’ll keep pushing and insisting on holding him and taking him out. How do I nicely say no, and that I’d rather me and my husband hold him?
