Best time to conceive?

Question

When is the best time to try and conceive?
I’ve been tracking ovulation. Yesterday was high. Today is peak. 
We had sex last night and the night before. 
I would today too. But....umm...I’m sore down there 😒🙈 and honestly don’t want too. 
I’ve read sperm can live a few days. So maybe we’d be ok not having sex tonight?!
Thoughts? Or should we do it anyways?

I got pregnant both times very fast (1st on 1st cycle, 2nd on 2nd) by having sex every other day starting about 6 days before ovulation. Both times we were unable to have sex on the day I got a positive for ovulation, so had sex the very next morning.

With my daughter we had sex one time on my peak day and nothing else that week and boom there she was lol

We were trying for 6 months and didn’t get pregnant because we would do it like 5 days leading up to ovulation and then we would stop after my Peak cause I kept thinking “oh well sperm can live for 5 days” and honestly the first month that we waited to start a couple days before O and then the next 3 days after we got pregnant! It’s important to remember that you might not ovulate for 12-36 hours after your peak so the days after can be super important. 
If you’re sore though, I would definitely take a break! I wouldn’t force it if you’d be uncomfortable. Good luck to you 💕
