I've always been insecure and knowing he'd be up close with my vagina just makes me uncomfortable. I do want him to do it and he wants to too, but I just can't get around that. I'm worried about how it looks, how it smells, how it tastes, if I missed a spot shaving, if I queef, all of that. We have a very good sex life and he'll finger me, but I guess my limit is him going down on me. How can I get rid of this insecurity?

Take a shower beforehand. There’s no way to change the taste... it’s going to taste like a vagina lol. Hair and queefing are normal as well. if your worried about how it looks or tastes just shave or clean up like an hour before you do it so you don’t have any ingrown hairs and whatnot. as for taste, i usually go on a fruit/ vegetable diet for like 2 days before hand and my bf said it taste like nothing compared to when i eat whatever i want. so i guess eating healthy and mostly fruits make it taste like nothing !

You have to relax and trust him. Easier said than done, and might take some time. It might help if you are already turned on and in the moment too.
