He’s been falling asleep on me on the couch every night so I thought it was time to try putting him down sooner.. and maybe have my evenings back. I did our usual night routine in my room, put him down and left... watched closely on the monitor. He slept ok for 30 minutes, then fussing and screaming began. After going up a few times to soothe him, I just brought him downstairs, he just keeps screaming now. Feel like an epic failure. I can’t remember how this worked with my daughter and I’m def not leaving him to cry this young. He’ll be four mos on the 16th.

Any recommendations? How’s it working for those of you that put baby down for bedtime and leave?
