New boy help:(

I met a guy about a month ago and my fiend pointed out that we were going to become a thing and soon after this guy kissed me and was being all cute holding my hand and all and he always says how he likes my hair and how I never wear makeup and so one day we talking and I wasn’t sure if we were talking and he let me decide if we wanted to start talking or not and I did want to but we don’t ever text but we see each other every day at school I don’t know what to do. Should I just think we talking or might he be playing me :( I’m 17 too
