Yesssssss!

So when I talk about financial strain, me and my boyfriend have been put through the ringer from the start of our relationship.

While I was broke from being recently divorced.

His moms declining health.

I moved in to help ease his bills and build my own life back up.

Funny how things never go as planned.

A month after moving in the a/c goes out.

Their credit didn’t qualify for a loan and although we’ve been friends for years, I was hesitant but took it out in my name to replace it.

Lol still having to live in 103 degree house for the loan to process for over a week.

Having his mom to stay with family because in her health she could not be there.

But we did it. His mom ended up selling the house to pay for future medical procedures so we moved in with roommates temporarily until she could pay me back for the a/c.

Waiting months for the house to sell. Bills piling up. Then one our cars breaks down.

Having to share a car on our schedule was just insane.

It was wake up at 3:30 load up his daughter (half the time, split custody) go with him to work, come home for two hours get her ready for pre k, go straight to work. He’d take the bus to my work when he was done get the car, pick her up from school, then come pick me up at 7pm.

I actually remember breaking down and crying one morning on the way to work because it felt like it was a never ending loop.

Then I guess my taxes were done wrong a few years back or something. The IRS started garnishing my wages. Like 200 a check. (Which only lasted a couple weeks thank god but the timing was just laughable.)

It swear it got to the point where I couldn’t even cry anymore, I was just expecting the next bad thing to happen.

We sold most our stuff on offer up, i watched this man sell and pawn everything he loved just to help more with bills because he didn’t feel like he was doing as much because I was making more money. To see someone bust their ass and work hard everyday, and still not feel good enough is really heart wrenching..

Then the house sold. I was paid back the money for the loan, we were able to catch up on bills, fix the car, move into our new place.

Were still on a budget but definitely not drowning like the beginning of this year.

Butttt that’s not it! My boyfriend had an interview for a manager position at his work and we just found out HE GOT THE POSITION!!!

His mom moved in with his sister and had her first surgery and is healing well.

I feel like everything is falling into place.

Being with him, I am always happy.. even being super stressed and under pressure from life coming at us from every angle.

We’ve just set all these goals getting together of what we wanted for our relationship and life together, and I’m really excited for them to finally play out.
