These are the two choices I was deciding between! I started college as a nursing major but switched to elementary education my sophomore year. Nursing is really hard and most of the college make you go through this long competition to get into the program. Working in a hospital means 12 hour shift, getting mandated, working holidays, late nights and being exhausted which are the reasons I decided to switch. Yes it pays better, but the cons out weighed the pros. I want to be a family person not a work person so teaching helps a lot with that! And kids are amazing! I’ve loved it ever since I’ve switched!
