I need advice

I was tested Tuesday for any stds and I had sex Wednesday with this guy I started talking to. Thursday they called me and I had chlamydia. I told the guy I got him antibiotics and for myself too. We’re both good now. But I think I lost him for good. I really didn’t know anything. If I knew I had an std I would never lie with him. I just don’t want to loose him. Should I let him go or should I try to keep him and try asking him out again and stuff?
