I'm a 20 yo in the UK and I'm going to phone my doctors surgery to catch up on some vaccines on Monday and.... Maybe get on the pill. Can you all tell me about taking them a bit and what the placebos are and are the side effects bad (for you) ? Skipping periods? (I want to use it for contraceptive purposes with long-ish distance boyfriend)

Also I have spoken about it with my bf but I might leave it a surprise for the next time I see him ^.^ Thoughts?
