Mom thinks me having average sized baby is bad.
So my first baby was a hefty 9lb 10oz, and this pregnancy (currently 38 weeks) my midwife said I'm measuring to have an average sized baby, which we all joked about because that means I have to go buy newborn size clothes! But anyway, I told my mom this, and she said "if that baby comes out 7lbs, I'm going to really question how you've been eating this pregnancy."
I myself was a big baby, as was my sister, so in my mom's eyes, "anything smaller than 9lbs is way too small" (her words)
She said this all with a straight face, and is seriously questioning how I have been eating.
If only eating during pregnancy dictated how big the baby would be, then the world would be setting new records for biggest babies! And I can guarantee you that I have NOT been starving myself!
Just wanted to rant.
